Last Christmas, the staff of Olive Law Firm spread the Christmas spirit by giving gifts to children and seniors in need through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree and Silver Bell programs. These programs aim to liven up the hearts of children and seniors who come from families that cannot afford to celebrate Christmas due to their financial situation. In 2013, there were more than 6,400 families in North Carolina alone that received presents from the generous sponsors of Salvation Army. These families received clothes and toys.
Community involvement is a part of Olive Law Firm’s mission. They recognize the importance of giving back and lending a hand to the members of their community who need assistance the most. The Salvation Army is just one of the organizations they support. Other groups they take part in are Charlotte Rescue Mission and Thompson Child and Family Focus.
To show their support for the two programs of Salvation Army, Olive Law Firm had a Christmas tree set up in their office. The tree was decorated with paper tags that contain the name, age and gender of the recipient. Last Christmas, the Charlotte personal injury law firm was able to provide gifts for 12,221 children and 1,134 senior citizens!
